The wedding venue has a hotel. See "Accommodations" section on our website for details on how to reach out to them. Note: it is first come first serve. If the venue has no availability, or you prefer to stay closer to the city, we added some hotel recommendations. AirBnB is also a good option.
The wedding will be in a town called Santiago Cuautlalpan, Tepotzotlan in the State of Mexico. Distance from Mexico City downtown is 48 km (30 miles). Driving takes about 60-90 minutes depending on traffic.
The best way to get around Mexico City is via Uber or a taxi. Phone ahead for a taxi de sitio to ensure that you get official and safe transportation around the city. Most hotels and restaurants are happy to call one of the official cars for you, or you could wait at the "Sitio" signs and stands located around town. Renting a car is also an option, but traffic laws and the traffic itself is different from other countries.
We are planning to be there between July 11th to July 15th.
We will be visiting the Pyramids (Teotihuacan) on Thursday, July 11th. We will go to Tepotzotlán, where Finca Mexicana is on Friday, July 12th to ensure everything is ready for our guests. We will return to Mexico City on Sunday, July 14th to tour a little before we head back home on Monday, July 15th.
