In his confusion, he unknowingly tried to claim what turned out to be Paty's usual spot. That's when their intimidating Coach Whitney stepped in with a knowing smile: "You know that's Paty's spot, right?" Mike turned around, and there she was—Paty, with that radiant, innocent smile that could light up any room. Beautiful beyond words.
