The first time we met was at Tia Juanita's restaurant. Mike was smitten! After dinner he was not ready to go home so he suggested a walk at a park. We walked, held hands and talked for 2 hours! We sat on a bench and he asked me if he could see me again and of course by that time I was smitten too!

After a couple of attempts to propose- because Patricia kept inviting family members to the places I wanted to propose! One morning after breakfast I asked her to go to the park we went to on our first date. We did have a family member present (Bentley my dog). I used the excuse that Bentley needed to get out for a good walk. We walked around the park a couple of times and took a break at the actual bench/table we sat on our first date. It was then much to Patricia's surprise I asked her to be my bride! Thankfully she said yes!
