Acadia National Park
You can't beat the hiking, camping, and trails in Acadia. If you'll be in Maine for a bit and outdoorsy activities are up your alley, it could be worth your while to make the trek up to Bar Harbor.
Kennebunk Beach
Southern Maine has a bunch of great beaches. We're a bit biased and love Kennebunk but you can't go wrong at almost any beach from Kittery to Freeport! If you're used to water a bit further south, swimming in Maine in June can be quite chilly!
Freeport
If shopping is your thing, Freeport is home to L.L. Bean and a bunch of other outlets.
Old Port
While exploring downtown Portland you'll find plenty of great spots to eat, drink, and shop with great views of the water.
Thompson's Point
Home to Bissell Brothers Brewery, Wine Cellar Winery, and Stroudwater Distillery, Thompson's Point is a great place to stop for an afternoon! Also check the State Theater concert schedule for outdoor concerts most weekends during the spring and summer! Or if believing the unbelievable is your thing, stop by the world's only Cryptozoology Museum to learn about Bigfoot and see actual hair from the Abominable Snowman!
