Chatham Hood Bikes
Great place to rent bikes in Chatham center. The store will have bike routes with maps for you. You can pick up the Old Colony Rail Trail from here which connects to the Cape Cod Rail Trail that you can take all the way to Wellfleet.
Dennis Cycle Center
Bike rental in Dennis center. The store can direct you to the Cape Cod Rail Trail that you can take all the way to Wellfleet or other bike trails in the area. Can also take the Old Colony Rail Trail to Chatham center to walk around.
Downtown Chatham
Walk around down town Chatham! Many shops, restaurants, breweries and ice cream. You can rent a paddle board or kayak or rent a bike and bike around the town and bike path.

Hyannis Cruise Terminal
If you are staying for a bit, take the ferry out of Hyannis for a day trip to Nantucket. Once there, you can rent bikes, explore the beaches, or go to Cisco brewery. Ferry runs about every 3 hours and times are on the site. Buy your ticket beforehand.
WH Ferry
Take the ferry out of Woods Hole for a day trip to Martha’s Vineyard. Checkout Oaks Bluffs, the The Aquinnah Cliffs – formerly known as Gay Head, or the Gay Head Light House.
Woods Hole
Pick up the shining sea bike path to Woods Hole or drive. The Woods Hole Science Aquarium is great for kids. Check out the Nobska Light House or grab some ice cream. You can also take the Island Queen over to Martha’s Vineyard for a day trip.
Cape Cod Rail Trail
This is one of our favorite activities during the summer. A paved recreation path, the trail is 25miles long and meanders through numerous Cape Cod towns. There are plenty of places to get off the trail for a beach stop or for food. There are a number of bike rental shops directly on the trail in Yarmouth, Dennis, Brewster, Orleans, and Wellfleet.
