Shenandoah National Park should be glowing this time of year! Be sure to check the website to be prepared for a day hike or a drive along Skyline Drive.

If you're up for a challenge, check out Mary's Rock, a 3.7-mile out-and-back trail near Sperryville, Virginia (about 1hr 15min from the venue). It takes an average of 2 h 18 min to complete. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.

If you love history, you won't want to miss the Manassas National Battlefield Park. This is where the Battle of Bull Run was fought, the first battle of the Civil War.
