Patty Hanley is a professional baker from Schaumburg, Illinois, aka the greater Chicago suburbs. Patty went to school at the prestigious Kendall College, where she met Emily Easterling, a WA transplant. Later, Emily and Patty moved to WA to start a company together, called The Bakeshop. You can find them at www.thebakeshopwa.com! Currently, they operate their business by online order, but they ultimately aim to open their own bakery. Patty is a bonafide Swiftie and daily follower of DogTok. A year after moving out to WA, Patty met... Alex Polson. Alex grew up in Mill Creek, a suburban town north of Seattle. Previously a manager in the cannabis industry, Alex now runs multiple retail stores for Seattle Coffee Gear, the nation's top dog in luxury espresso machine sales. Alex is a huge music nerd and concert addict. He also loves video games, TV, his nephews, and traveling! Neither contribute TOO much to society, but they are doing their very best.

Give us the relationship history!

Answer

Patty and Alex met in August of 2019. Their first time out was a casual coffee date that stretched on for hours, and it's been smooth sailing ever since! They moved together to an apartment in Everett, WA in October 2021. Every day they look out from their window into the ocean and contemplate the lifetime of joy and happiness they intend to spend together.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We'll be having a welcome party in the hotel on Thursday, October 3rd. Keep an eye on this site for more details!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

We highly recommend staying at the hotel, which is walking distance from the venue, or taking the light rail to Pioneer Square Station if you're local. There are several parking lots and garages nearby though, such as the Butler Garage at 114 James St.
