January 2, 2024, is a date we will always hold close—it’s the day we met for the very first time. After connecting on the dating app Hinge and talking on and off for a few days, we decided to meet in person at Cork & Pig Tavern in Midland. We both arrived early and a little nervous, but as we sat down and conversation began to flow our nerves went away almost instantly. From that day we first met, conversation flowed naturally. What began as a simple first date quickly turned into something more meaningful as we realized how easily we connected. By the end of the evening, it was clear to us both that this was a connection worth pursuing. As many more dates followed, our relationship continued to grow with purpose. We began to see how naturally we complemented one another and how strongly our values aligned. When we began to meet families, everyone was welcomed with open arms, and we knew we were building something special. We have always brought out the best in each other—encouraging growth, faith, and love. We thank God for the way our paths crossed and for the blessing of walking through life side by side. We are incredibly grateful for the love we share and so excited to begin this next chapter together as husband and wife!
