Tony had brought up a secret trip he had planned for our anniversary in the beginning of the year. We can't keep secrets from each other to save our lives, so I knew it was going to be something big when six months had passed and still no break in his resolve. The night before we left for the trip he finally spilled the beans, we were going to Disney World! Neither of us had been since we were very small and had been talking about going together for years. We got to the park at eight and after being out in the sweltering Florida heat for ten hours, and Tony splitting my toenail, I was over it. I wanted nothing more than to take a shower and sit down, not attempt to take cute pictures in front of Cinderella's Castle when dehydrated and sunburnt. I'm glad I listened and changed out of my gross clothes and touched up my makeup before dinner. Because when a nice lady offered to take our picture, Tony got down on one knee and asked if I would want to spend the rest of my life with him.
