Their story began at a Halloween party in 2017 at “The Swamp.” In the midst of the festivities, Ashley noticed Greg in an inflatable baby costume and immediately wanted to talk to him. Greg, meanwhile, was trying to work up the nerve to approach her. Eventually, they struck up a conversation and connected instantly. After the party, they kept in touch, and two months later, they started dating. They navigated long distance for 2.5 years while Ashley was attending Marist College, then lived together in New Jersey for two years. Now happily settled in North Carolina, Greg has achieved his dream of becoming a career firefighter, and their family has grown with the addition of two beloved dogs—Koda in 2022 and Tiller in 2023. On July 28, 2023, Greg proposed on Long Beach Island, and the couple is excited for the future adventures that await them.
