The dress code is Black Tie Optional. Ladies should wear dresses that are knee length or longer. Men should wear a suit or tux, ties are optional. Fun colors and patterns are encouraged. Please wear comfortable shoes as the reception is in the grass. Jeans are not permitted.
Please arrive between 1:30pm and 1:45pm. The ceremony doors will close at 2pm.
The ceremony will be held in a church nearby and the reception will be at the farm under a tent. With being on the bay, winds can change drastically, be sure to bring a coat or sweater just in case.
Please drive your personal car to Our Lady Star of The Sea in Solomons, MD. We will not be providing shuttles to and from the ceremony.
There are parking lots behind and in front of the church. All parking is free. At the farm we will have designated spaces blocked off for parking in the grass.
There will be an intermission from 3:30-4:00. We ask you use this time to return to your hotel and check in/ freshen up for the reception. The bridal party will be taking family photos during this time, please do not arrive at the farm until 4:30.
We will be providing shuttles from the hotel to the farm. The hotel pickup will begin at 4:00 and end at 4:15pm. For hotel drop off we will have waves of busses starting at 10pm, 11pm and 11:30pm. Drinking and driving is not acceptable.
Our wedding will be an adults-only event. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time.
Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.
We have a hotel block under the "travel" section above. Please review this for our reserved hotel block. This will be the pickup and drop-off location for the wedding. There are so many great places to stay in St. Marys County. If you plan on making a weekend trip, Airbnb is a great option!
There will be a Post Toast event at Bugeye Grill in Solomons, MD from 7pm-10pm This is open to everyone that is invited to the wedding. We would love for you to stop by, enjoy a cocktail and mingle! Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
We will have passed hors d'oeuvres and raw oysters from 4:30-6:00pm After Cocktail Hour, you will be served a salad, plated dinner and dessert. You will make your final meal selection online when your formal invitation is delivered. We will not be supplying food from the hours of 1:30-4:30 please plan accordingly.
We have a vegetarian option available for your dinner entree. If you need any other accommodations please reach out to us and let us know.
This date will be specified on the formal invitation that will be coming to you by mail in 2025.
