Can I bring alcoholic beverages inside Jackson Square for the ceremony?

No you cannot but once you leave the gates of the square you are good to go!

The wedding reception is a cocktail style wedding reception so there is no assigned seating. Move about, mingle and dance!

The reception is open bar but tipping is recommended and appreciated.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony of the bride and groom?

Let's leave the picture taking for the photographer however what comes after the ceremony is fair game.

Immediately preceding the ceremony the guests will be continuing the celebration in the form of a twenty to thirty minute second line wedding parade throughout the quarter. Comfortable shoes are recommended.

The wedding second line celebrates the newlyweds as they embark on a new life together. The main line leading the parade for a wedding is made up of the married couple, the brass band and usually a grand marshal. The second line is the wedding party and any passersby who want to join the celebration.
