Part 1 of our first date! Excellent pizza and craft beers. They also have a taproom closer to downtown Raleigh if you can't make it to this location.
Part 2 of our first date! Amazing flavors that change every week, can't go wrong with any of them.
One of Anne's favorite local breweries, their IPA "Trophy Wife" is always a good choice. Fantastic pizza and small plates as well!
We took our engagement photos here, and we've had a few picnics here too! The NCMA has a great park with many greenways attached to it, so great for a scenic walk, and all outdoor areas are free!
The NC Farmers Market has a fantastic breakfast/lunch restaurant on it's premises, plus countless aisles of fresh produce to choose from.
27.5 miles of paved trail, this is a go to favorite for Paul for long bike rides due to its beautiful setting along the river and winding through the surrounding areas. Plenty of free trail access parking lots are available along the length of it.
Lots of great food options under one roof.
Another great option for varied foods, as well as a crowd favorite taproom next door for NC made Burial Beer Co.
For the speed freaks I'm inviting, have fun at an indoor go-kart track.
5th-oldest amusement park in the U.S., with a carousel, mini-train, paddle boats, playground & more.
