Our Story

...when you know, you know

Rebecca and Kevin's love story began in December of 2019 when they matched on Bumble. Weeks later, after great conversation and much patience and persistence from Kevin, Rebecca agreed to go on a first date... and the rest is history. They enjoyed about a month of dating before the world shut down and COVID-19 created major distance between them. Although they were in uncertain times, the couple made the decision to continue dating virtually. After the quarantine was lifted, Rebecca and Kevin were able to reunite in person and have been inseparable ever since. Rebecca and Kevin enjoy spending time with family and friends and experiencing new adventures together. Despite their busy schedules, they always find time for one another. Whether their plans are a fun night out on the town or doing some local errands together, they always have a good time in each other's company. The night Kevin proposed to Rebecca, he completely caught her off guard. Rebecca had a stressful day at work and nothing seemed to go right. Although her day was tough, Rebecca was looking forward to beginning her weekend right with a fun date night that Kevin had planned in Princeton. The couple was very excited to spend a night under the stars in a heated igloo… but as luck would have it, the universe had other plans and their reservation fell through. Rebecca and Kevin walked MILES around downtown Princeton on a Friday night looking for any restaurant that could accommodate them. After what seemed like forever, Kevin was able to find a last minute reservation. Since so much time had past, the shops in the square had already closed so the couple began the drive back to Rebecca's house, hoping to look at the Christmas light displays on the way. But… since it was so late, there were no lights to be found. Kevin proposed to Rebecca on December 3rd, 2021 in front of her house in Kendall Park, NJ. The couple was saying good night and Kevin was dragging out the goodbye more than usual. Confused, Rebecca told him that he needed to go so he could get home safe at a reasonable time. Kevin smiled then asked, "What if we don't have to say goodbye anymore?" He then got down on one knee in front of her house and asked her to marry him! Kevin in fact found the perfect proposal spot which was both meaningful and private. The couple spent many goodbyes in this spot talking about what a future together could look like. Rebecca and Kevin even exchanged their first “I love yous” in this very spot. Knowing Rebecca isn't comfortable being the center of attention, Kevin thought this was the spot and was hoping to capture their special moment on Rebecca's family's RING video doorbell. The couple was anxious to break the news to Rebecca's parents that night which quickly turned into morning. Although Kevin did return home that night, they were able to celebrate the next day, both virtually and in person with family and friends all weekend. Rebecca and Kevin want to thank everyone for supporting their relationship. Every person invited holds a special place in their hearts and they look forward to celebrating their union with everyone February 4, 2023!
