What is the dress code?
Answer
The dress code for our wedding is "black tie optional" attire. For ladies, think longer dresses and for men, suit and tie, although you can dress more formally if you wish. The ceremony and reception will be held indoors with a courtyard garden nearby. Pointed heels should not be an issue, but there will be dancing!

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

The ceremony begins at 6:30pm in the East India Marine Hall of the Peabody Essex Museum. For the early birds, please arrive no earlier than 6pm.

Can I bring my kids?

We've opted for an adults-only affair to allow everyone to relax and enjoy the celebration. We hope you understand our decision and apologize for any inconvenience.

How do I see all of the museum?
Answer
During our wedding, all of us will be passing through galleries as we move from one area to the next and you are always welcome to stop and look around. Unfortunately you will not be able to wander the museum during the wedding as it is technically closed to the public. You're welcome to visit the museum during public hours (10am-5pm Thursday - Monday) and will receive discounted admission ($15) if you mention that you are a guest of ours!

Is there a hotel room block reserved for the wedding?
Answer
As of 12/2/2024, we have a limited number of rooms reserved for a wedding block at the Hawthorne Hotel. To reserve within the block, you will need to book over the phone at 978-744-4080. Contact us (Patrick, 703-598-2284) if you have issues. If you already booked at the Hawthorne Hotel on your own (outside of the wedding block) please give us a heads up! We currently do not plan on finding a block at another hotel but we will keep you updated!
