Travel back to 2006, when Sean Paul "Temperature" and Shakira "Hips Don't Lie" were number #1 hits. Young Sam and Pat first officially met at Maine West soccer fields and the rest is history; but really. Pat and Sam's friendship continued through Freshman year of high school through Senior year. In the fall of 2010, Sam attended Lake Forest College, while, Pat attended Dominican University. On February 3, 2011 they finally decided that they wanted to make things official and started their dating journey. Since then, Pat and Sam have celebrated many special occasions with friends and their families, while also learning who each other are and how to navigate and communicate with each other. In 2018, Pat and Sam made a "big kid's" decision and purchased their own home in Elk Grove Village; where they have been able to continue to explore their life together, with their favorite furry buddy, Rio. On January 18th 2020, (yes, some good things happened in 2020), Pat asked the question that EVERYONE (besides Sam) was anticipating. She said, "what are you doing? Stand up!" Together, Sam and Pat look forward to celebrating with you, as each of you have been a piece of their life puzzle, then, now and within their future. Much love, Pat and Sam
