Salt Mine

10 Daniłowicza, Wieliczka, małopolskie 32-020, Poland
, +48 12 278 73 02

Beautiful salt mine located deeply underground (loads of stairs but worth it) with beautiful salt sculptures. It is a short drive from city center (~30 minutes). Tours are typically arranged by bus from the city center with plenty of companies providing these trips

Auschwitz

Oswiecim, Lesser Poland Voivodeship 32, Poland

Tours are typically arranged by bus from the city center with plenty of companies providing these trips

Wawel Royal Castle

5 Wawel, Kraków, małopolskie 31-001, Poland

Crown jewels are a must here!

Brewery tour from Goetz Palace (saturday optional)

Goetz Palace - meeting, Brzeszko, Poland

Cost is PLN 45,- for a guided tour of the old brewery now owned by Carlsberg - which of course include a tasting (see schedule for timings) Please let us know in advance if you wish to participate

Podziemia Rynku Museum

Kazimierz

Kraków, Lesser Poland Voivodeship 30, Poland

Typical old jewish neighbourhood for exploring traditional and typical jewish restaurants. Many pre-war buildings exists here

Restaurants (Crakow city center)

Crakow city center, Crakow, Poland

We typically enjoy: - Zakladka - Miod Malina - Camelot Cafe - Copernicus - Cyrano de Bergerac - Amarylis - Kogiel Mogiel - Wierzynek (1st floor) - Intoligatoria smaku - Nago sushi Tripadvisor / Yelp if your friend on cuisine/prices etc

Vistula river and dragon

Kraków, małopolskie 30, Poland

Take a stroll along the green spaces at the river below the castle - and take the kids by the big fire spying dragon that has a background legend almost matching the little mermaid story :)

Ojcowski National Park

9 Ojców, Sułoszowa, Małopolskie 32-045, Poland
, +48 12 389 20 05

Nice park for a post/pre-wedding hike

Poznań

Poznań, Greater Poland Voivodeship 62, Poland

If you are going by car through Germany - this is a perfect stopover on the road to/from Krakow with great accommodation and food options (don't stop in germany - pricy and not as good!). Hotel recommendation is: City Park Hotel & Residence (luxury) or IBB Andersia Hotel (more central and close to Stary Browar mall where you can find great food too - a cool place to visit)

For all the days along the way
