FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses

Question

When should I arrive in Paris?

Answer

The Welcome Event is the first event of the celebrations and will be held June 23rd, so we recommend arriving by this date at the very latest!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

No, we do not have a registry. Your attendance at our wedding is all the gift we need! We know that traveling to Paris is a significant cost and time commitment, so please do not feel obligated to buy us a gift.

Question

What travel documents do I need to enter France?

Answer

You will need a valid passport. It's important to note that if your passport expires within 6 months of the trip (i.e. if it expires on or before Dec 24, 2025) then you will not be allowed to enter France. If you need to renew your passport, we recommend renewing by April to ensure to you receive it in time for the wedding. You can renew or apply for a passport here: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports.html/

Question

How do I get to the hotel from the airport?

Answer

The easiest way to get to central Paris from the airport is by taking a taxi or an Uber. We recommend using an Uber XL or Uber Van, as these options offer more space for luggage, as smaller European cars often don’t have enough trunk room for checked-size suitcases.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, we will be staying at the hotel Kimpton St. Honore and have provided a selection of other nearby options on the Travel page of this website.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, a shuttle will pick all guests up from recommended hotel Kimpton St. Honore and drop-off everyone off at the same location after the wedding.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, when you RSVP, you will have the option to provide any additional information about any food allergies that we should be aware of.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes, the welcome event will take place on June 23rd in lieu of a rehearsal dinner.

Question

I want to make a speech but am not scheduled to on the Wedding Day. When would be the best time to do that?

Answer

We'd love for you to share a few words! The perfect time to give an unscheduled speech is during the Welcome Party! This event offers a more relaxed setting, making it a great moment to share heartfelt words without the time constraints of the Wedding Day

For all the days along the way
