Question

Is transportation by taxi readily available in Siena?

Answer

You can find cabs in Siena at official stands (like the train station), book via apps like AppTaxi or SIXT, or contact local companies like Sartini Autonoleggi for pre-booked rides, with app usage being convenient for location-based hailing, and apps like itTaxi also available in Italy. Expect to pay around €15-€17 for a ride from the train station to the city center (Piazza del Campo area). How to Get a Taxi: Taxi Stands: Look for official stands at the train station (Stazione di Siena) or other main squares; they usually have white cabs. Apps: - AppTaxi: Request, track, and pay with digital methods. - SIXT: Partners with local taxis, offers standard/XL/green options. - itTaxi: Another popular Italian taxi app. Car Service Options: - Call a company like Sartini Autonoleggi for pre-arranged services, especially for airport transfers or tours. - If you are interested in full service rentals which include a driver, we highly recommend you contact a local driver service ahead of time for booking. Below are a few trusted options: • CONSORZIO TASSISTI SENESI – (+39) 0577 223375, segreteria@taxisiena.it • GIANNI ANSELMI - (+39) 351 8821867 • ALESSANDRO - (+39) 347 7037660 • MICHELE – (+39) 339 3960443 Tips & Costs: - Train Station: Taxis are readily available, though sometimes lines form. - Cost: A trip from the train station to the historic center (Piazza Mercato/Campo) costs roughly €15-€17. - Payment: Apps offer credit/digital wallet payment, but it's wise to have some cash. - Official vs. Unofficial: Stick to official ranks and apps to avoid issues with unregistered taxis.

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

We do not have a formal registry. We recognize the time and investment to attend, and are incredibly grateful for it. As such, gifts of any kind are unnecessary. Your presence is present enough! If you truly still wish to do so, any cash gifts will be put to use in our next chapter together!
