Rogue Valley International-Medford Airport (MFR)

MFR is the closest international airport, it's a (beautiful) 3.5 hour drive to the venue from here. You'll drive along the Smith River and pass through dense groves of massive old-growth redwoods. Look for Roosevelt Elk near Orick, CA.

San Francisco International Airport (SFO)

SFO is the most affordable flight option and it's a (lovely) 5 hour drive to the venue. If traveling on a weekday add an extra 1.5 hrs for traffic. If you have time take the scenic byway, Avenue of the Giants, which runs parallel to the highway and adds about 30 minutes to the trip. It'll wind through grove after grove of massive ancient Redwood trees.

Arcata-Eureka Airport (ACV)

The venue is a 25 minute drive from ACV. It has limited service and is served by United Arlines.

Overlooking Humboldt Bay in the Historic District of Eureka, California, the boutique Inn is housed in the unique and intriguing Historic Eagle House Victorian (est. 1888). Twenty-three unique guests rooms provide all you need for a pleasurable and relaxing get away. Each room is unique and decorated with a personal touch, boutique hotel charm and delicate attention to detail. All rooms have private baths and only half of our rooms offer televisions. Rooms at the Inn are reserved for our guests under "Buckwalter Wedding." Located in Old Town Eureka, 15 minutes from wedding venue.

A block of rooms is reserved at a discounted rate at this hotel. It is reasonably priced and not far from the venue, a 10 min drive. We have a shuttle system set up to take you to and from the wedding venue- a great option for guests at the end of the night. This is a county park that is less than a mile from the venue that has campsites, RV hookups and a bathroom on site, for guests who plan to camp.
