See you this fall

While everyone received a wedding invitation, the ceremony and reception is going forward with a max of 100 guests. If you RSVP'd 'yes,' you're in! And due to the executive order on increased indoor gathering sizes in the state of Michigan, we're happy to report the ceremony and reception will be INDOORS! Mask up, and see you on Oct. 10.

Our story would have been a lot different if it weren't for our friend, Colleen. Patrick and her attended grade school together in Muskegon. Fast-forward a few years, and Delaney and Colleen befriended each other at college, playing hockey together in Minnesota. We met over winter break, sophomore year, when Delaney came to Michigan to visit Colleen. She introduced Delaney to her friends from 'back home,' which included Patrick. After a few days of ice skating, movies and late-night diner trips, it became pretty clear we didn't want things to end when we eventually had to part ways to go back to school. We began dating on January 12, 2014, blossoming into what is today six-plus years of love, laughs, adventures and, not to mention, discovering our mutual affection for the world of food.

We've lived together in Haslett, just outside of Lansing, since 2017. Patrick is a communications and strategy consultant at Consumers Energy, while Delaney is the marketing director and firm administrator of an appellate law firm in Lansing. Whether we're settling in at one of our favorite eateries or breweries, taking in a Michigan State hockey game or exploring one of the many trails and parks just outside our backdoor, we're loving our life together in Mid-Michigan
