We're getting Married

Tka and Patrick met on Facebook, for about a month they spend time talking at least four times a day regardless the fact that they were both working and busy. Patrick after sometime got the address of Tka, only to realized that it was an hour away from where he lived. Feeling much perturbed and uncertain of this journey he went to his friend "Stephanie Pouokam" who herself shared her story regarding the distance that was separating her from her now husband. Patrick having hearing this decided to pursue Tka and see where the journey takes him. Tka on the other hand was very nervous and unsure hence she confided in her sister Sophie about Patrick and possible meeting him. Sophie was excited for Tka and suggested that church should be a neutral ground for first meeting. Little did Patrick or Tka knew that their lives were gonna be forever intertwined. Patrick and Tka decided to take the next step....meet in-person! Their first face to face meeting was to be at Tka's church which means that Patrick drove the 1 hour to go see her. After driving an hour to Tka's church ....Guess what?! Ohhh yes- Tka was late! Her sister "Sophie" was at church and for a minute Patrick thought Sophie was Tka, until 15 minutes later when the real Tka arrived. She invited Patrick to come and sit next to her. Patrick came sat next to her and felt like he knew this lady for years, the connection was perfect, the feeling was pure and the desire of holding hands and get to know each other more was growing, their hearts were beating with excitement and the newness of these feelings. The picture here was taken on that first meeting, where after church they went to StarBucks, their very first date was a coffee date! Patrick and Tka spoke about everything and nothing, they couldn't stop talking and staring at each other with eyes locking ever so often to the point they spent close to 3 hours at Starbucks. Time flies when having fun! Since that day Patrick and Tka moved from being friends to boyfriend-girfriend and on August 6th, after Patrick had a discussion with Tka's family, he proposed. Tka of course says "YES", now spiraling their journey by becoming fiancé-fiancée and soon to becoming husband and wife on January 14th, 2024.

On August 6th, 2022, Patrick took Tka out on date, it has been a time since they went out. Tka couldn't imagine what Patrick has planned for the day. Prior to this day, he reached out to Tka's sister "Melissa" for advice and his big brother "Gaspard" for planning. They all did everything quietly and secretly. Patrick discretely took phone number of Tka's friend from her phone and invited them since he didn't have their numbers prior. He invited a violinist to make the ceremony more interesting and colorful. On the day on the proposal, all the guests made it before them and were put in a separate room reserved for the occasion. When Patrick and Tka arrived, they were put on a table far from the room of the guests. At some point Patrick invited Tka to go on the Deck of the Restaurant to enjoy the View of the City from there; something that she likes, "nature", "flower" , "landscape" and more. As they were standing there, over the water and trying to recognize some place in the City from the Deck of the Restaurant, giving their back to the restaurant as you can see on the video. At some point our two lovers turned their back and Tka started recognizing faces, the surprise was perfect. Some of these people don't live in the city, some flew or drove miles away, some of them spoke with her before but no leak happened. As Tka was still trying to figure out what was happening, the violinist started playing, "All of me of John Legend", Patrick was supposed to actually sing but the emotion was too high that he couldn't at the time. After the song, He said some words and popped the question and Tka said "YES" and they became engaged. Patrick and Tka are so excited to celebrate this next chapter in their lives with you.
