Alejandra is Tanya's dear baby sister. Being only 20 months apart and the only children to Kena and Pepe, they’ve always been close. Alejandra followed Tanya to the east coast for college and ended up in New York City, where they lived together for 4 years. In NYC, she also met her beloved Tristan and adopted her very adorable Rye. Ale and Tanya continue to live within 1000 feet of each other in Brooklyn and not surprisingly, even Sky and Rye were best friends.
David Nathanson
Best Man
Dave is Patrick's older brother and, even though they are four years apart, they've always been best friends. Dave taught Patrick many of the things that make him the man he is today. Patrick looked up to Dave his entire life, until he outgrew him. Now, he admires his brother from a few inches above.

Mia and Tanya have been best friends since junior year of college at Columbia. Mia has been one of the most amazing, incredible friends a girl could ever ask for, always there though the good and the bad. There is no better rom-com and Hallmark/Netflix Christmas movie partner than Mia and for that, she is appreciated and loved.

The Kids. Since Patrick's freshman year at FGCU, he and Pete have been brothers and running buddies. Patrick was honored to serve as the King's Hand at Pete's wedding.

Shira is one of Tanya's best friends from her days at Major League Soccer. She's one of the best people Tanya has ever known, oozing so much strength, intelligence, and beauty. Gchat history can testify to their constant communication and in depth conversations about feminism, love, and the trials of growing up.
Kyle Kempinski

When Patrick moved to New York, he and Kyle quickly became friends, and Kyle's family took in Patrick as one of their own. Their love of spicy halal food pairs well with their love of Guinness and Jameson, especially at Daly's Irish Pub in Astoria. Kyle also introduced Tanya and Patrick, so there's that little detail.

Stephanie quickly became one of Tanya's closest friends after meeting through Shira and Chris. Her happy and sweet personality make it impossible not to love her. Not to mention she also loves to eat!

Mike and Patrick have been best friends since freshman year at FGCU. Senior year, they somehow managed to fit 150 people into a 2 bedroom apartment on Halloween, and their only punishment was getting laughed at by the police.

Emily quickly became one of Tanya's favorite people. Her quick wit and love of fitness (ask her about Pure Barre!) make her one of the easiest people to love.

Jon has been a part of the family since the early days of high school, and he and Patrick have been through everything together. Patrick even introduced Jon to his wife, Jenn! Jon still owes the Nathansons a Buffalo Sabres towel, though.

Maria, also known as Kena, is the best mother in the world. Her strength, love, and generosity make her a one of a kind human being.

Patrick inherited the travel bug from his mother, and will always be grateful for her love and support through everything in his life. Delta Diane is always traveling, so look for her on your next flight!

Doc is always pushing Patrick to pursue his goals and is constantly teaching him how to be a better man. Patrick's love of cooking stems from making eggs with his Dad when he was little (and, of course, the best sandwich this side of the Mississippi). "Coach," as he's known to his grandkids, is a Harley rider and woodworker extraordinaire; basically, Tim Allen from the movie Wild Hogs.

Dog of Honor
Sky was the first to know that Patrick loved Tanya - he told her so! Sky was the best dog and loved nothing more than getting her belly rubbed and her head scratched. While we had to say goodbye to our sweet girl in July, she will always be in our hearts.

We wanted to have an officiant who knows us both well, can sprinkle in some Spanish, and can capture our personalities in front of so many friends and family. Shane was an easy first choice to fill that role, and thankfully, he agreed to do it. He and his wife Jessie are amazing people and true friends of ours. We are honored and excited to have Shane be the officiant on our big day!
