As our journey begins

It all started at a Christmas party we were both trying to avoid. A mutual friend basically harassed us until we agreed to go. I showed up late, already planning my exit, when suddenly I was introduced to him. I warned them not to make it weird… but they did, and apparently, that’s how love starts sometimes.
