How We Met

A little over a year ago, Patrick and I decided to meet after chatting online for a while. This lucky place where we found each other is probably one of everyone's favorite, Moes. I remember that I had had a very busy day at work, very nervous for our date, and starving. When I got there Patrick walked in and I was like hey he doesn't seem that bad. I just want him to be prepared if we ever go out again that I can eat. So, I got the biggest thing I could think of... a Joey bag of donuts. Now, I was pretty hungry and it came as a surprise that the only thing that Patrick wanted was a little chicken quesadilla. I was like "are you sure that's all you want?" His answer "yes." When it was time to check out the guy at the register asked if we were paying together or separate Patrick's answer was "together" The guy must have known it was our first date because he looked at me and said "he's a keeper if he's buying." After that Patrick would tell you that I didn't stop talking the whole time even though I don't really know what I said and that I haven't stopped talking since "haha." I guess it was love after that because here we are engaged and wanting to be married.

Engagement

It was a beautiful, blue sky day. The white clouds were lazy and there was a crispness in the air. We were relieved that our journey was over . It had all gone so well ,traveling together with our good friend ,Anna .When we reached our destination in Woodstock NH , we took repast at a quaint cafe to nourish us for the frozen pathways that called to take us to the ice castles. Our trusty horses ,Brooks and Dunn, pawed the ground as Patrick lifted me into the carriage sleigh. Then we were off gliding through the snowy forest. We entered the frozen world of ice fountains, ice slides, ice thrones, and more. The lights in the ice were illuminating and the wait for the ice slides was well worth it. There were sporadic fires where you could warm your hands when they got too cold, numb and tingly. After exploring the castle and crawling through tunnels we decided to walk around. A beautiful cave beckoned at the exit. Patrick wanted Anna to take a picture of us.So Patrick and I entered the cave yet again. Then and there, Patrick went down on one knee and preposed “we met in the snow so it’s only fitting that I ask you in the snow. Tamara Pasanen will you marry me?” and I think you all know what I said to that !!!!♥️♥️♥️😉👰
