Making the trip early and want some ideas of places to go and things to eat? Here's a list of some of our favorite places we've been together.
WithinSodo
2916 Utah Avenue South, Seattle, WA 98134
Our wedding venue!
Marina Park Pavilion
25 Lakeshore Plaza, Kirkland, WA 98033, (425) 587-3330
Kirkland is a wonderful little town just north of Bellevue and a great spot to relax. The pavilion by the water is also where we got engaged!
Fremont Bowl
4258 Fremont Avenue North, Seattle, WA 98103, (206) 504-3095
We didn't go here on our first date, but we did for our first date as an "official couple".
Japonessa Sushi Cocina
500 Bellevue Way Northeast, Bellevue, WA 98004, (425) 454-1585
One of our most frequent sushi night locations!
Columbia Center Office Building, Food Hall and Observatory
701 5th Avenue, Seattle, WA 98104, (206) 386-5151
Pretty cool views from above the city! We went with Saki (maid of honor) and her husband Tomoya during the summer of 2019.
Space Needle
400 Broad Street, Seattle, WA 98109, (206) 905-2100
While of the bride and groom only Susie has been up to the observatory, the Space Needle is a Seattle icon.
The Spheres
2111 7th Avenue, Seattle, WA 98121, (206) 266-4064
Love him or hate him, Jeff Bezos has left a mark on Seattle. The Amazon Sphere's are an alternative work space for Amazon employees to relax and enjoy. They house over 40,000 plants, none of which you can order on prime.
Pike Place Market
85 Pike Street, Seattle, WA 98101, (206) 682-7453
Another quintessential Seattle tourist spot. There are enough shops, gum walls, and restaurants to fill up a whole mornings visit. We've been to the market many times - it's also where we plan to get our wedding flowers!
Isarn Thai Soul Kitchen (Kirkland)
170 Lake Street, Kirkland, WA 98033, (425) 298-4429
This Thai food restaurant is disgustingly good. We love it so much that we had them cater our courthouse wedding celebration.
Bellevue Square
Bellevue Square, Bellevue, WA 98004
The Bellevue mall is always fun - plenty of shops and restaurants. We're there far more often than you'd expect.
University of Washington
Seattle, WA 98195, (206) 543-2100
Susie's alma-mater! Sadly it will be a little too late for the cherry blossoms by the time the wedding rolls around, but it's an exceptionally beautiful campus.
