Patrick lived in Scottsdale, but Susan lived in Mesa. So how did it happen? Their paths crossed in the summer of 2017. Susan was a hard-working lab rat in the QA department, and in the second building was a fresh-faced Patrick in the QC department. From the moment Patrick met Susan he was stunned by her charm and beauty to say the least, so he started to enjoy work a little bit more. To Patrick's dismay, he was moved to night shift shortly after, restricting his chance to see her. After a year had passed, he was back on day shift, and this is when the groundwork began. As a shy man, Patrick used every opportunity in the crosshairs of work between QA and QC to try to talk to her; making up scenarios to go into her lab. How much lab supplies does this guy need? They started with friendship and it began to blossom into something more, or so Patrick thought. After a couple of months of legwork, he mustered up the courage to ask Susan on a date, and to his bemusement, she said no. He was devastated. But that didn't deter him from their friendship. As months passed by, Susan found another job, and Patrick is devastated yet again. But as God's will would have it, Susan came back to her previous employers. Patrick's feelings for Susan never left and he was more determined to make her his girlfriend. Lo and behold, in late 2019, Patrick was able to win her heart, thus beginning their story together...
