Ain't No Party Like a Bridal Party

Ellie Damaschke

Maid of Honor

Ellie and Sarah met freshman year at Immaculata High School in New Jersey. Initially bonding in high school marching band, Sarah and Ellie remained close even after Ellie moved to CT before junior year. You probably wouldn't be surprised that Sarah had a photo shoot done at the mall of their circle of friends as a parting gift for Ellie. Throughout 25 years of friendship, Sarah and Ellie shared many laughs and phone calls over relationships and life. They created many memories down at the Jersey shore, visits to Rhode Island, adventures to NYC, trips to Florida, Savannah, and Newport. Whether they are near or far from one another Ellie is home. Sarah is grateful to have someone who knows her so well and for so long to be by her side on her wedding day.

Tanya Paolo

Matron of Honor

Sarah first came to work for Tanya in 2003 at Johnson & Wales University. Organizing programs like sorority recruitment and club & org fairs, Sarah and Tanya spent many hours in the office together. Their first real bonding moment came during Tanya's wedding in 2004 when she flew Sarah out to Kansas to be her wedding coordinator and Sarah sang Madonna karaoke at the rehearsal dinner. Soon after their friendship consisted of many karaoke nights, concerts, bar crawls, NCAA games, Patriots outings, CHOPS nights, Ocean Mist mornings, and more. Years after their time at JWU, Sarah still was employed by Tanya as a waitress for Pamfilios and then Bistro by the Sea. Many late nights at these restaurants made for unforgettable memories and stories. Tanya was with Sarah the legendary night she met Patrick at Knightsville Pub, was part of the decoy plan the night he proposed, and will stand by Sarah on her wedding day.

Mandy DiIorio

Bridesmaid

Sarah met Mandy when Mandy started working in her office at Providence College in 2014. Sarah had recently finished her fitness competition which intrigued Mandy and led her to believe Sarah would have lots of great fitness workouts and tips. Little did she know that Sarah's knowledge of Friday night cocktails was a safer bet. A fast friendship ensued and when Sarah introduced Mandy to her future husband their adventures were taken down to St. Petersburg Florida where Mandy now resides with her husband Rich and their one year old Ricky. Their bond grew stronger through Mandy's engagement, wedding, and their journeys to motherhood. Over the last 8 years Mandy and her family have become family to Sarah and Patrick and she can't wait to have her part of her special day.

Cristy Raposo Perry

Bridesmaid

Sarah and Cristy were in the same class at Providence College, however they didn't know each other then because Cristy was a commuter and Sarah didn't do keg stands at parties. When they both attended Johnson & Wales in graduate school they were pretty much two of the only English speaking students in the class so they gravitated towards one another. Cristy invited Sarah to a networking event one night after they graduated in 2005. From that night on they were taking over the night life scene in Providence (although these days its more like the brunch scene). Over the years some of Sarah's best trips and memories were with Cristy...Disney, Napa, Chicago, and Puerto Rico for Cristy's bachelorette. Cristy and her husband Mike even took Sarah in as a roommate when she sold her condo in 2019. Cristy has been there for Sarah during the good days, the bad days, and now will stand by her on the best day.

Melissa Kolenski

Bridesmaid

Sarah and Melissa also met in high school marching band and really started to become close in senior year. Once they were in college, summers at home consisted of unending energy. A typical day would be Sarah and Melissa getting up at 6 am to go to spin class, then head to their daycare jobs, and then would hop in the car and drive down to the jersey shore for a night of dancing and debauchery. Melissa was the first of their friend group to get married and one of Sarah's favorite memories were the festivities leading up to the wedding, including an epic trip to Vegas. Through the years Melissa and Sarah stayed close through trips to Rhode Island, visits at home, girls trip to Florida, and our day after Thanksgiving winery crawl. We've come a long way from our days in plaid skirts and Sarah is so happy to have Melissa next to her on her wedding day.

Samantha D'Amico

Bridesmaid

Sarah and Samantha started crossing paths circa 2008 at various events Cristy was hosting or nights out in Providence. Each not too sure about the other at first, it wasn't until they started working out and training together for the Tough Mudder in 2012 that it suddenly clicked. Through endless hours with Team Crosspain, the Tough Mudder, Spartan Races, and all of the drama that came with it, Sarah and Samantha became close and realized their love for fashion, brunch, creating trip itineraries, and a great photo op. One of Sarah's favorite memories is their weekend getaway to Chicago where Sarah's skirt ripped as they were getting into a cab for a night out - but it didn't stop them! This led to a second trip a couple years later with Cristy and Pat for Sarah's birthday. Samantha is a devoted friend who can remember what Sarah wore for every occasion and event throughout the years - a skill which is extremely valued by Sarah. Sarah can't wait for Samantha to remember THE dress and stand by her side on April 22.

Amy Zenion

Bridesmaid

Sarah met Amy, Patrick's sister, soon into dating him. Sarah (and Muddie) immediately felt welcomed by her , Greg ,and Patrick's two nephews Keelan and Dylan. Even though the pandemic began shortly after - they still managed to start the tradition of Sunday dinner alternating between each house. Since then there have been birthdays (including some milestones!), holidays, welcoming the latest cousin into the family, Aiden, and of course the addition of their new shepherd, Mac. Sarah is thrilled to call Amy her sister and is honored to have her by her side.

Katie Pasternak

Bridesmaid

Sarah and Katie's mother Michele are first cousins. Sarah was a flower girl in Michele's first wedding to Katie's dad and graduated to bridesmaid when Michele married Jimmy in 1999. Michele was also a bridesmaid in Sarah's mother's wedding in 1977. Sarah is thrilled to continue the tradition with having Katie as a bridesmaid in her wedding. Sarah has known Katie since she was born and has loved seeing her grow from an adorable little girl to a strong independent woman. Sarah has been grateful for their relationship as adults and has enjoyed Katie and Bart visiting in Rhode Island and her and Patrick visiting up in Saranac Lake. She can't wait for all that is to come.

Sydney Collard

Junior Bridesmaid

Sydney is one of Patrick and Sarah's favorite kids. Sarah and Sydney's mom Michelle have been friends since 2010 when they were single and ready to mingle! Nowadays, Michelle, Scott and Sydney are one of Sarah and Patrick's favorite families to hang out with. Sydney is a bright and bubbly 9 year old who can also be mature enough to hang with the adults (or maybe Patrick is just a big kid at heart). She is also an amazing Irish step dancer and can be found placing in multiple competitions! They can't wait to have Sydney part of their special day.

Amelia Flagg

Flower Girl

Sarah and Amelia's mom, Delmy, became friends when they both worked out with the same trainer and workout crew back in 2014. They both could be found lifting weights in the 6 am session 2 or 3 times a week. They became even closer after Delmy married Chris and expanded their family with Amelia and Andrew. Amelia and Muddie are best buds and Muddie has cuddled with Amelia all the way from when she was a baby. Delmy and Chris were thrilled when Sarah met Patrick and welcomed baby Aiden. Now, Amelia loves to come and visit Sarah and Patrick - usually they have donuts! Amelia is going to be a beautiful little flower girl!

Kensington Twombly

Flower Girl

Sarah and Patrick are thrilled to have Kensington, Aiden's cousin, as part of the wedding party. Kensington's mom, Meaghan, and Patrick are first cousins. Prior to Sarah and Patrick meeting, Meaghan and her husband Joey took Patrick in as a roommate and they consider him more like a brother. They've had some crazy adventures before Kensington and Aiden came along...but the fun will continue as they grow up together.

Aiden Tierney

Ring Bearer

Patrick and Sarah can't think of anything more perfect than their son, Aiden, being the ring bearer for their wedding. In a short time he has brought so much joy and happiness to their lives. Having him as part of the wedding will make their hearts full. Whether he is walking or riding down the aisle...stay tuned!

James Brown

Best Man

Patrick and James Brown met "back in the 90s" in Providence RI and they became fast friends. Their favorite thing to do for years was play pool together. After bonding over pool and music James became family. James is like a brother to Patrick and has been there through all of life's ups and downs. Patrick and Sarah love James and Julissa and Patrick is honored to have James stand by his side.

Adam Florio

Groomsman

Patrick and Adam met through the motorcycle riding club and Patrick quickly appreciated Adam's humor and honesty. Riding together is easy just like their friendship. Adam is honest, loyal, fun, and Patrick would trust him with his life. Adam is always there for the important moments, including one of Aiden's first visitors!

Keelan Zenion

Groomsman

Keelan is Patrick's first nephew and godson. Keelan was also with Patrick the fateful night he met Sarah. When Patrick looks at Keelan it's like he is seeing a younger, but much wiser version of himself. He is so honored to have Keelan as part of his wedding day and is proud of the young man he has become. He always thinks about how lucky he is to have a nephew and best friend in Keelan.

Christian Tierney

Groomsman

Patrick was incredibly proud to gain the title of Dad when Christian was just 6 years old and who made Patrick the dad he is today. Feeling lucky to have Christian now living just down the street, their love goes beyond father and son. Patrick treasures their deep talks and bond over music (however Christian usually sides with Sarah's love of rom coms). Christian is an amazing big brother to Aiden and Patrick feels a tremendous amount of love and happiness that Christian will be standing by him as he marries Sarah.

Chris Firetto

Groomsman

Christopher has become the kid brother Patrick always dreamed of. The bonding began with axe throwing for Chris' birthday and having fun. When Chris was looking for a home Patrick was honored to go with him to inspect them and ask realty questions. Realizing how stressful buying a first home can be Pat felt like he could be useful and Chris welcomed his assistance. When the right home was purchased the brotherly help continued with hanging televisions and some electrical work. Early in this wedding couple's relationship, Patrick knew he would marry Sarah and Christopher would be his brother-in-law. These bonds of brotherhood have taken root through so many major lifetime events like, buying a home, marrying Aida, and becoming an uncle to baby Aiden made them family before any laws of Church or Government could make it official. Christopher, Aida, Patty, Joe, and Sarah are already family to Patrick and he's looking forward to sharing even more milestones

Pete O'Rourke

Groomsman

Pete is Patrick's work partner and so much more. Being able to poke fun and laugh at anything, they automatically had to get along. However, many years ago when Pete pulled Pat aside to let him know he would not bid a position Patrick wanted, which was much closer to his home, Patrick felt the depth of Pete's loyalty, embraced it, and has cherished it ever since. When Sarah asked who could be trusted to set up their gender reveal, Patrick picked Pete. He knew Pete not only could keep a secret but would find a way to get the job done. Starting as a couple of ballbusters who appreciated each others twisted humor their relationship has grown into a brotherhood that has stood many tests of time.

Carlos Macedo

Groomsman

Carlos and Patrick met at work but it was after work where they truly bonded. When the two of them were together it felt like a party. Patrick began to realize the depth of this friendship when Carlos finally met- his mother. Patrick's Mom was a call it like she saw it type of woman and she loved Carlos right off the bat. Carlos felt received that love, multiplied it, and sent it back to Pat's entire family. When Carlos comes through to any event or just stops by the potential for that time becoming legendary grows exponentially!

Joe Larkin

Groomsman

Joe Larkin was a good friend of Patrick's back in High School who fate brought back decades later. Patrick was at Nic-a-Nee's, in Providence, when he saw Joe belly up to the bar. Recognizing how little Joe had changed, he second guessed himself so he asked the bartender. She responded, Joe Larkin, using his whole name, as anyone who knows him would. Excited and incapable of hiding it Patrick practically ran over but stopped right behind him. Joe Larkin turned back to see, without skipping a beat, looked him up and down and said, did you grow? Being a late bloomer Patrick had grown a few inches after High School; other than that neither of them had changed that much and picked up right where they left off so many years before.
