So way back in 2011, both Patrick and I decided to take an extra semester in college and study abroad in Santander, Spain. We met the first day of the trip and immediately became friends. After traveling the world together, we both went our separate ways (Patrick graduated college and backpacked all over the world and I started nursing school). We remained friends but had pretty much lost touch over the last four years as Patrick was doing disaster relief work around the world and I was in graduate school for nurse anesthesia. Fast forward to 2019 when Patrick reached back out. Little did we know that we both happened to be living in Raleigh during this time. Once we actually started dating, it became clear to both of us that this was the real thing. So on the 1st of February, unbeknownst to me, Patrick brought me to his church and asked me to be his wife (insert some really sweet, romantic, spiritual things that I blacked out through once realizing a proposal was coming). So here we are! Spain has always held a really special place in our hearts so we had decided we wanted to come back to Spain to say "I Do!" But with all that's going on with the world we decided to keep it closer to home. We have always loved the mountains and hope that you'll join us for a weekend away. We are so grateful for our relationships with each and every one of you and can't wait to spend the weekend celebrating! :)
Update: This is tentative as of right now! With everything going on with COVID, we do not want to make any definitive plans as of right now! (: We understand if traveling may not be an option for you right now. We still would love to see you and celebrate with you so we're going to have a post-wedding celebration that you are invited to! Below is the link to the RSVP if you would kindly peruse that site. (: https://www.theknot.com/us/nicki-tschudi-and-patrick-angle-oct-2020/rsvp
