FAQs

The Wedding Website of Mena Kamel and Patrick DeLong
Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than June 15, 2026.

Question

How should I get to the wedding?

Answer

The reception venue is located just one mile from the ceremony location, yet parking can be tricky on a Saturday night. For this reason, we recommend utilizing rideshare apps like Uber and Lyft. If you decide to drive, there are dedicated parking lots at the chapel. For the reception, you can park in the lot across the street, or take advantage of street parking in the surrounding neighborhood behind the venue. *Stay Tuned: Some of us may walk from the Chapel to Pizzaiolo. More details to come...

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding ceremony is indoors, and the reception will be both indoors and outdoors.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

It's a gay wedding. Consider this your moment.

Question

How should I plan for the weather?

Answer

Bay Area weather can change quickly, so we recommend bringing layers. September days are typically warm, with temperatures dropping into the low 60s after sunset.

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

Yes, children are welcome to join both the ceremony and the celebration!

Question

Will there be vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free options?

Answer

Yes, there will be something for everyone.

Question

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

No, but we’d love to fill our home with your handmade art. If you prefer, we'll also humbly accept the gift of money to use toward our future together. Check out the Registry Page for more details.

Question

Who designed your wedding invite?

Answer

It was a collaborative design by lifelong friend Annette Shirinian & Mena, and illustrations by Mena's uncle, Elhamy Naguib. Check out Annette's other work at annetteshirinian.com and Elhamy's work at elhamynaguib.com
