“If you let me here’s what I’ll do, I’ll take care of you” - Drake

For New Years 2015, Mayra and her best friend Nicole were inspired by Bravos “Southern Charmed” to ring in the New Year in the Holy City. A Tinder Match later and Mayra and Patrick’s story began. Although it was really a few well placed Drake Lyrics in their initial chat that Mayra admits grabbed her attention. Mayra left, but Patrick convinced Mayra to visit him a few months later. The rest is history.

On January 13th, 2021 Patrick asked Mayra to go for a walk “South of Broad” with him and Pluto. They walked by Patrick’s old Carriage House Studio Apt where Patrick lived when they met. When they walked by the Carriage House, Patrick got down on a knee and asked Mayra to marry him. Luckily she said yes as the photographer was already there to capture the moment.
