FAQs

The Wedding Website of Mary Jane Titus and Patrick Leach
If you have any additional questions please don't hesitate to reach out to us! We're aiming for a relaxed, intimate lake day gathering with our closest friends and loved ones. More information may be available as we continue planning.
Question

Closest Airport?

Answer

- Kalispell Airport (FCA) is the closest (aka Glacier Park International Airport) - Missoula Airport (MSO) is the next closest, two hours away. Bozeman, MT and Spokane, WA are also options but are 5 hours away.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Best Western Flathead Lake Inn and Suites is a five minute drive away, and Somers Bay Log Cabin Lodging is within walking distance. The websites for these are linked under the Travel and Lodging page. There are many Airbnb/VRBO and camping options around Flathead Lake. We do recommend you stick to the northern sides of the Lake as it is quite large! The towns of Bigfork and Lakeside are close by (7-20min), there are also plenty of hotel/lodging options in the nearby, larger city of Kalispell, MT. From Kalispell our venue is 15-30 minutes away, depending on which side of town you're on.

Question

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

By boat! At the Somers Boat Ramp we will have a pontoon and captain that will shuttle people back and forth from the island all day through 11pm. Parking at the boat launch is free, and the ride is no longer than 5 minutes.

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

Free parking is available at the Somers Boat Ramp (5353 U.S. 93 S, Somers, MT 59932) AND along Hwy 93 S at Somers Beach Park. From there head to the dock!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Ceremony is at 2pm with the reception after, but please feel free to head over earlier! The boat shuttle will be available all day, and we want our guests to enjoy the lake and island venue.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

For the ceremony we request a semi-formal "yacht club" formality but a little lighter. Think linens, maxi/sundresses, short sleeve button downs, light colors and sandals. It'll be an August day, we want you to be comfortable! For the reception, please feel free to bring a swimsuit/change of clothes so you can enjoy all the venue and lake has to offer.

Question

What do you mean by picnic?

Answer

For our reception, our caterer specializes in picnic salads, sliders, appetizers, and charcuterie. We'll have tables and seating for everyone with plenty of food options, served buffet/family style.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We have a registry through Zola and Target, both are linked on the Registry page. We thank you in advance, but please know your presence is the greatest gift to us!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 1st. Anyone that does not RSVP will be assumed not coming. Thank you for helping us plan accordingly!
