We highly suggest guests spend some time in Smögen if the get the chance! This is where we got engaged and it's the perfect little seaside town to spend a few hours walking around the boardwalk and trying some of the food and local brewery's beer. Click the link to see our Google maps spots!
Gothenburg is our closest city, and the 2nd biggest city in Sweden! There's lots of museums to check out, lots of shopping, as well as great restaurants, breweries, and bars. Liseberg is the amusement park if you're craving some of that kind of excitement. There are also many spas if you want a relaxing day off! Click the link to see our Google maps spots!
Norway was one of our favorite trips - from Bergen to Eidfjord to Flåm, we highly recommend making a trip to the fjords and trying some Nordic food and drinks. For reference - it's over 7 hours of driving one way from Oslo to Bergen, so we recommend at least 3 or 4 days depending on what you want to do! Click the link to see our Google maps spots!
Denmark is another of our favorites, particularly Copenhagen. We have already made two trips down and would highly suggest spending at least 1 day walking around the city, visiting Tivoli amusement park, attending a concert, and eating at one of the many many delicious restaurants around the city, before ending the night at a hidden speakeasy or another highly rated cocktail bar. Copenhagen is about a 4 hour drive from Gothenburg - we recommend spending at least 1 night, but 2 is better! Click the link to see our Google maps spots!
Stockholm is another easy spot to recommend. There's lots to do for whatever piques your interest. You can go to the ABBA museum, take a stroll through Old Town for souvenirs, walk along the canal, or visit Queen's Street for some A+ shopping. Stockholm is about a 5.5 hour train ride from Gothenburg - we would recommend spending at least 1 night, but a day trip could also work! Click the link to see our Google maps spots!
