Our story started in the spring of 2016. We needed a replacement player on our incredibly talented co-ed softball team and that's where Marisa met Patrick. Feelings weren't mutual at first... Marisa was unsure of the loud, short, bald guy - initially denied Patrick's first attempts at courtship. However, Patrick was persistent and managed to get Marisa to go on a first date in September. They went to a 'beer festival' at Lansdowne, followed by some dancing at a local bar, things went so well - Patrick won over Marisa. Since those early days, they have gone through a lot: 4 moves, living through a major house flip, purchasing their first home together, multiple renovations, 2 dogs, and oh ya - a pandemic. Nothing has seemed to phase their love for one another, but rather drove them closer together. Whether it's walking their dog at the park, sharing some wine at night or taking on one of their many house projects, they've always kept things light and fun.
