We’re getting married!

It was a hot summer day in Lubbock, Texas. Patrick's roommate, Brian, worked with Magaly at a local steakhouse and had just gotten Patrick a job there for the summer as well. Before his first day Brian invited Magaly and her best friend, Haley to the pool with Patrick. Magaly was surprised - she had no idea her coworker was hiding such a good looking roommate this whole time! After making sure he was in fact a cutie patootie with her bestie, she chatted him up and naturally Patrick was unable to resist her charm. She talked about how much she loves sushi and asked if the guys would like to join her and Haley for dinner. Brian politely declined (because who wants sushi after spending all day at the pool?) but Patrick was all in. We would later discover that the man actually does not enjoy sushi very much (he literally hasn’t had a single bite since that day) - he just wanted to spend more time with the spicy little Latina. The next day he started working at the steakhouse and so began a summer romance full of sunny pool days, smokey Lubbock dive bars, and stolen kisses in the walk-in fridge. Before they knew it summer was ending and they realized that they had very much fallen in love. The rest, as they say, is history!

Era un dia caliente en Lubbock, Texas. Un amigo de Patricio trabajaba con Magaly en un restaurante local y le acababa de conseguir un trabajo allí también para el verano. Antes de su primer día, este compañero invitó a Magaly y a su mejor amiga, Haley, a la piscina con Patricio. Magaly estaba sorprendida: ¡no tenía ninguna idea que su compañero de trabajo estaba ocultando un amigo tan guapo! Después de asegurarse con su mejor amiga de que, efectivamente, si era muy guapo, Magaly empezo una conversación con el. Naturalmente, Patricio no pudo resistirse su encanto. Magaly habló de lo mucho que le gustaba el sushi y les preguntó si les gustaría cenar con ella y Haley. Patricio aceptó con mucho gusto (más tarde descubriríamos que, en realidad, no le gusta nada el sushi; simplemente quería pasar más tiempo con la pequeña latina picante). Al día siguiente el empezó a trabajar en el restaurante y así comenzó un romance de verano lleno de días soleados en la piscina, noches largas en bares, y besos robados durante el trabajo. Sin darse cuenta, el verano llegaba a su fin y los dos jovenes se habían enamorado profundamente. ¡El resto, como se suele decir, es historia!
