We’ve decided to make our wedding events adults-only (21+), with the exception of our nephews. If you choose to bring your child(ren) along for the trip, we kindly ask that you arrange for childcare, as they will not be attending any wedding events. Thank you for your understanding, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you!
The closest airport to The Saguaro is Palm Springs International Airport (PSP), which is about a 10-minute drive (2.3 miles) from the hotel. This airport is the most convenient and easily accessible for most guests. If you’re unable to fly into PSP, Ontario International Airport (ONT) and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) are also options. However, please be aware that travel time from LAX can take 2 hours or more, depending on traffic. During peak times, it could take longer, so plan accordingly if you're flying into LAX.
The ceremony and reception will be held at The Saguaro, which is centrally located in Palm Springs. The hotel is just a short drive from Palm Springs International Airport (PSP) and downtown Palm Springs, where you’ll find plenty of restaurants, bars, boutiques, and more—and it’s very walkable! If you’re staying at The Saguaro and will be attending the wedding events, you likely won’t need a car. Lyft and Uber are great options. However, if you plan to explore more of Palm Springs on your own, are traveling with a group, or prefer extra flexibility, renting a car could be a convenient choice. There is plenty of parking at The Saguaro.
It depends on your group size, travel companions, and how long you plan to stay! For more space and a home-like experience, there are great Airbnb and VRBO rentals in the surrounding areas. Some good locations to search include Cathedral City, Downtown Palm Springs, Rancho Mirage, Palm Desert, and La Quinta. Keep in mind that the area is spread out—while a destination may only be a few miles away, drive times can take longer than expected. For example, the hotel (The Saguaro) and welcome party location (Luchador Brewing Company) are only 4.2 miles apart, but the drive can take 15–20 minutes. If you’re planning to visit Joshua Tree National Park, consider staying in Joshua Tree, Twentynine Palms, Yucca Valley, or Desert Hot Springs. The Airbnbs here are amazing, and Joshua Tree is famous for incredible stargazing!
Palm Springs is beautiful this time of year! Expect mild, sunny days around 65–70°F and cooler evenings around 45–50°F. It’s perfect for outdoor exploring during the day, but you’ll want to bring a jacket or sweater for the evenings.
