The city of Austin is a quick drive from the wedding venue and is definitely worth a visit during your stay! We have compiled a list of our favorite restaurants and activities that might pique your interest! ( COVID restrictions )
Lady Bird Lake
Austin, TX
There are a ton of kayak and paddle board rental shops by the waters edge, one of the more popular activities here in Austin. Make sure you get there early as they sometimes sell out!
We've been to our fair share of ramen shops in the US and this place definitely is in our top 3!
Domain NORTHSIDE
11821 Rock Rose Avenue, Austin, TX 78758, (512) 758-7937
A cute shopping district with a variety of retail stores, restaurants, and bars. Since everything is packed in one area its a great place to go bar hopping after eating out!
Barton Springs Municipal Pool
2131 William Barton Drive, Austin, TX 78746, (512) 974-6300
We don't have any beaches in Austin but we do you a public natural springs pool! It's the go to spot whenever theres a sunny day out..which is often! Definitely worth checking out! (They do require advanced recommendations)
Franklin Barbecue
900 East 11th Street, Austin, TX 78702, (512) 653-1187
Best Texas BBQ. Opens at 10:30am but line starts forming pretty early on (8am-ish). They stay open until the meat runs out, so better hurry!
