We’ve decided to split our wedding ceremony and reception to blend our love for the beautiful state of Colorado, where we live, with our roots in Missouri, where we grew up. The ceremony will take place in Colorado, allowing us to celebrate in the stunning landscape we call home. To accommodate our loved ones, especially those with kids, the reception will be held in Missouri, a central location that we hope will be more convenient for everyone. This way, we can honor both our present and past while making it easier for our cherished guests to join us in the festivities.
No worries at all! This is why we split the events. We want to spend as much time with you as possible! Simply RSVP to whichever event you are able to attend.
As soon as possible but no later than August 14!
The short answer, YES! Please just let us know so we can be sure to get enough food and chairs. Even last minute changes need to be RSVPed please! There is no limit for guests at our reception and while there is a capacity for our ceremony, I don’t think we’ll get to that amount. And if we do…well we can cross that bridge when we burn it…
Your dog can come to Colorado, but please do not bring them to the ceremony.
For the wedding ceremony: dressy casual. This will be held at a state park where there are plenty of activities. If you would like to bring a change of clothes, please do! We want you to have fun and enjoy all of your time in Colorado! For the celebration of marriage: Halloween costumes are encouraged! Do keep in mind though, that this is still a wedding reception, so please refrain from political or offensive costumes. If you do not want to wear a costume, wear black - dressy casual.
At the ceremony: We will be grilling after the ceremony. Brats, burgers, beers! At the celebration of marriage: Pizza! If you have any allergies or restrictions, please let us know.
