We're getting married!

It all started with a somewhat questionable car ride. Back in 2018, Kelly’s friend asked if she could drive a guy named Pat from Syracuse to Albany for an ultimate frisbee tournament. She had never met Pat before, and her parents were rightfully concerned about her driving a random man several hours across the state. Location sharing was activated, frequent check-ins were required, and the general consensus was: “This better not be a murder-y situation.” Spoiler: it wasn’t. Pat turned out to be completely non-scary (just tall and very into frisbee), and thanks to a few mutual friends who met up along the way, the drive went smoothly. They chatted, laughed, and went on their separate ways after the tournament weekend. A few months later, though, something unexpected happened—Pat showed up at Kelly’s frisbee game. She couldn’t believe her eyes. Was this the random carpool guy? What was he doing here? As it turned out, fate (and frisbee) had other plans. Pat stayed the weekend with Kelly’s friends, and the two ended up spending nearly the whole weekend together. One particular moment at breakfast stands out: neither of them could decide what to order. Eventually, they landed on the perfect solution—split two meals and share everything. And they’ve been doing exactly that ever since: sharing food, adventures, laughter, Spotify playlists, pets, and a life full of love. Now, after 7+ years together—two dogs, two cats, and countless houseplants later—Kelly and Pat are excited to take the next step in building their family by getting married. They can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you.
