We're getting Married

Patrick and Kelly met through Kelly's cousin Melissa. They met up for dinner and to catch up with each other. During dinner Melissa asked Kelly if she was still playing soccer. She said no but was wanting to find another team to join. Melissa said she had a friend who plays on a team, and they are looking for another player. Melissa messaged Patrick telling him that her cousin was interested in playing. Patrick told Melissa he would message Kelly. Two weeks later and Kelly was on both an indoor and outdoor soccer team with Patrick.

One of the many things that Patrick and Kelly have in common is their love for soccer. They have both been playing since they were little kids and continue to play off and on till this day. They have played on the same teams for both indoor and outdoor soccer. Their passion for the game is evident every time they step on the field. They also look out and protect each other while they are playing. Patrick even did a slide tackle into a guy after he purposely tripped Kelly to get her out of the way so he could score (Patrick didn't let that happen). Then one time when Patrick was in goal, he slid to grab the ball (a goalie can to get the ball and he didn't touch the guy) while he was still on the ground with the ball in his arms the dude still kept kicking it so Kelly pushed the dude away from Patrick. It's amazing to watch them play together, Kelly as a defender and Patrick as goalie make one hell of a team.

On Easter Sunday Patrick, Jack and Kelly had lunch at his parents house with and an Easter egg hunt (we have done this the last two years). After Jack collected all of the Easter Eggs, they went into the house. Jack wanted Kelly to help him count the change, while they were sitting on the ground doing that Patrick came and handed them both an Easter Egg and told them to open it. When Kelly opened hers, she saw post it note and something else fall out, she unfolded the piece of paper and on it said, "Will you be my loving wife for the rest of our lives and she looked down at the object that fell out and saw that it was a ring, she picked it up, when she looked up he was on one knees and with tears in hers she said "really?" Patrick said yes really and Kelly immediately said yes and hugged him, then turned to her mom and hugged her. While all this was going on Jack had opened his egg and saw he had a note too. Well, when he saw Kelly crying and hugging her mom, he said why is mom crying? My mom told me to explain it to him and that's when I said Patrick proposed. We are getting married. With a huge smile on his face he said really?! We said yes and then Jack said, "YAY NOW I GET A SIBLING!" We all died of laughter. We then told him to read the note, his said "will you be my loving son for the rest of my life?" Jack immediately said a yes, with a huge grin and ran and gave Patrick a big hug. Kelly started crying all over again. It was absolutely wonderful and romantic.
