Kaylin and Patrick met on the dating app Bumble in January of 2023 and quickly bonded over a shared love of Disney, adventure, and their faith. Both were at a point in their lives where they were ready to find their person and have their last first date. Before the first date, they did a video call that lasted for over two hours. The first date was at a 110 Grill and they talked for several hours! At the end of the first date, both knew this was definitely going somewhere and was the beginning of something special. After just about 3 months, the couple took their first vacation together to Disney World and had a blast. Disney would prove to be a common theme in their relationship as Patrick quickly got Kaylin hooked and she is now a Disney fanatic. Another common theme in the couple's relationship is bees since in addition to meeting on Bumble, Patrick was also a part time beekeeper. He purchased a second bee suit for Kaylin, and both look forward to continuing this hobby together during their relationship and marriage. Kaylin and Patrick were very intentional about their relationship and they quickly became very close, talking about everything and having hours of deep conversations. In between weekend adventures, the couple enjoys diving into self-growth and relationship resources and even completed a couples course together to take a proactive approach to their relationship and future. As both began discussing marriage, Patrick knew he wanted to make the proposal special. He planned a proposal on Harvard Alpaca Ranch and invited Kaylin there under the pretenses of "taking pictures with the alpacas". He secretly tied the engagement ring around an alpaca's halter and got down and proposed. Kaylin was ecstatic and of course said yes! Family is very important to both Kaylin and Patrick so the proposal was extra special since the engagement ring was custom made with family stones. Kaylin and Patrick are both so excited to celebrate with everyone in October. It will be a day of celebration of their love but also of the relationship they built. Who better to celebrate with than dear friends and family? We love you all!
