Patrick was still in NC in the military so our relationship was long distance the first 6 months. We skyped every night before bed, and every morning. On this day, 4 years ago, Patrick said those 3 little words to me for the first time ever before he left for work.

I had never flown on a plane by myself until having to travel to NC to help get Patrick back to Massachusetts when his service ended. Midas was a tiny 10 pound ball of fur that I carried in a box truck and cuddled all the way home where we became a family

Originally, patrick and i got engaged without a ring. We wanted to continue being non traditional and pick a ring out together when we got the opportunity. Well, we picked my ring and our bands but i STILL wasnt allowed to wear it until Patrick said i could. So, i honestly have been too busy planning the wedding, i didnt think twice when Kasey asked to get our nails done together because she had a stressful week and wanted to catch up on plans. Patrick and i already planned on having engagement photos taken and kasey volunteered to help. Great. Well, Patrick decided to make his proposal “redo” during the photo shoot and i have never been more surprised. I couldnt believe it, 2 surprise proposals and i only cried once.
