Travel Note
Welcome out-of-towners! Though we recommend our guests stay in Portland for the abundance of things to do and places to stay, our wedding is being held 14 miles south of Portland in Oregon City, a quaint town in a more rural setting. Unfortunately, there isn't any public transportation that runs from the city down to Oregon City. That said, there are some options for those that aren't planning on renting a car. A Lyft or an Uber from Portland to the Abernethy Center will run about $25 dollars one way. I also want to put together a group email where we can all communicate with each other and arrange some carpools. If you are interested in carpooling with other attendees email me at karleighfrisbie@gmail.com

Travel Note
You may opt to stay in an Air B and B or VRBO while staying in Portland. Though there are many great neighborhoods to stay in, I would recommend some of the east side districts for proximity to activities, nightlife, shopping, entertainment, and public transportation. Though downtown (the west side) will provide all of this, it may be more difficult to find rental homes there since it is mostly high rises and apartment buildings. I love the Mississippi neighborhood, the Hawthorne- Belmont area, Kerns, and Buckman neighborhoods. Homes designated by SW in the address are typically in the west hills or on the edges of Portland closer to Beaverton. These areas won’t be walking distance to things and may prove to be more difficult transportation-wise. That said, the homes up by the Rose Garden and Forest Park are gorgeous and would promise a luxe getaway. Please email me at karleighfrisbie@gmail.com with any questions
