FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than September 4th. See our RSVP page here on our website! This ensures we have all the information we need in one place. If you have a plus one, as addressed on your invitation, please be sure to give us their first and last name as we will need this for the seating chart!

Question

Do I get a plus one?

Answer

Unless otherwise addressed on your formal invitation, we are not allowing plus ones. We are having a rather intimate wedding and would like to keep it to close friends and family only!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal attire. No jeans please! Avoid dark red, green, or white. Ladies - Dresses below knee length to floor length, nice skirts, or dressy jumpsuits. Gentlemen - Dress shirts and slacks. Ties and blazers optional. Keep weather in mind, it may be cold! Most importantly we want everyone comfortable!

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at the venue 30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time. This allows time for parking and to make the walk to our gorgeous ceremony site. Our venue hosts will be in place to direct drivers to parking accommodations as well as point you to the woods!

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

We understand it can be difficult for some of our friends and family to find child care. Our littlest guests are more than welcome! The venue has two high chairs to accommodate those who may need it. However, to the best of your ability please be sure they remain seated during the ceremony. No phones or tablets will be allowed during this time either. It is one short hour we ask electronic devices be put away so our other guests can enjoy their time as well!

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

Short answer? No. Long answer? We have hired our lovely photographer, Shawna, to document our big day exactly as we’ve always dreamed! We understand wanting pictures or videos for your own memory but other guests should not have to watch our ceremony through your phone screen. We ask all devices be put away and silenced during this special time!

Question

Smoking Policy - PLEASE READ!!

Answer

Our venue is quite adamant at keeping all smoking restricted to the fire pit and surrounding area. There is no open flame or smoking allowed in the reception barn. If you are caught smoking outside of the designated area you will be asked to leave and we ourselves will lose our security deposit. Don’t be that person!

Question

Mobility Restricted/Handicap Guest Accommodations

Answer

Our venue provides us with two electric golf carts to which we will designate drivers who can transport our handicapped/mobility restricted guests to and from the ceremony site. In the woods, our ceremony location, there will be ash benches for guests to seat themselves. In the event you should need accommodation, our venue has stadium seats. Again, this is for our handicap or mobility restricted guests only!

Question

Pet Policy

Answer

Well-behaved, trained service animals are welcome at our venue. Common household pets and emotional support animals are not! We love our dogs too but they will not be joining us on our big day!
