Santos is the biggest city on the coast of Sao Paulo and has the biggest port in South America. It is located in the Sao Paulo state, in the south of the country, and about 50 miles from the capital. It's a tourist city in the summer and is also famous because none other than the legendary Pelé and Neymar have played on its soccer team. We have listed a few favorite things we like to do in the city. The currency in Brazil is Reais and right now the dollar is very strong there. $1 is currently R$4.75.

The water is calm, warm, and pleasant. Many beach kiosks sell natural fruit juices, beer, drinks, typical snacks and they bring them to you while you relax in your beach chair.

Santos has the largest beachfront garden in the world according to Guinness World Records. There are over 4 miles of gardens that contain a variety of flowers beds, palm trees, and fountains.

One of the best places to watch the sunset and surf in the city. The park has lots of monuments, areas for skateboarding, volleyball, soccer, and space for a bike tour. Totally recommend going there!

Pelé, the best soccer player in the world, played for Santos FC! You can have this incredible opportunity to learn more about his trajectory and see valuable items. Entrance is free and there is translation to English.
