Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Jackie Einerson and Patrick Abel
Welcome to Stanley, Idaho, population 65 (year round)! This little town booms in the summer because of all of the outdoor activities to do. Downtown includes three streets so it's easy to drive by. Stanley is our favorite place in the world and we get over here as much as we can. Hope you can get out and enjoy some of it while you're here. We have ideas listed below... Hiking Recommend alltrails.com for your hiking/biking information. Easy: Lady Face Falls (from Stanley Lake) Fishhook Creek (from Redfish Lake) Medium: Bench Lakes (from Redfish Lake) Alpine Lake (Iron Creek Trailhead) Hard: Sawtooth Lake (Iron Creek Trailhead) Goat Lake (Iron Creek Trailhead) Saddleback Lake (from Redfish Lake) White Water Rafting Pat worked for The River Company so is biased toward them. See below for more options. Biking Rentals: https://balancebikeworks.com/ Riverwear Easy: Stanley to Redfish Lake Lodge Medium/Hard: Elk Mountain Loop (from Stanley Lake) Fisher Williams "Loop" (from Hwy 75)

Redfish Lake

ID 83637

Busy but beautiful lake. It is very cold but has a lovely beach and there are easy and hard hikes from the trailhead nearby.

Stanley Lake

Stanley Lake

ID 83637

A much quieter lake than Redfish Lake. It doesn't have the amenities of Redfish but is a great place for a mellow hike or more intense bike ride. Lots of camping options and you can bring SUP or other rentals here to enjoy the lake.

The River Company

The River Company

1150 Eva Falls Avenue, Stanley, ID 83278

I was a guide for the River Company for 5 summers. It was an awesome company to work for. They have excellent guides and a trip for all ages and comfort levels. That time of year there will probably be class IV for the most adventurous. There is a class III trip for those who still want a fun ride but with a very low chance of flipping over. This can also be done as a lunch trip. Ages 4+ There is a scenic trip that leaves from just outside Stanley that is fantastic for kids 6 and under. I have taken a 10 day old down so there isn't an age restriction.

White Cloud Rafting Adventures

635 Edna McGowan, Stanley, ID 83278

My second favorite day stretch company. They have excellent guides and really know how to make a trip fun. They have some excellent fishing guides although that time of year won't be great fishing.

Sawtooth Adventure Company

710 Ace of Diamonds Street, Stanley, ID 83278

3rd favorite raft company.

Mountain Village Resort

220 Eva Falls Avenue, Stanley, ID 83278

Huge dance floor and bar. Probably where the reception will continue for those who are wanting a late night. Probably where some of you will be staying as well.

Kasino Club

620 Ace of Diamonds Street, Stanley, ID 83278

Fun bar that has been very much revamped since my guiding days. On Thursdays they close down the street in front of the bar and have live music and a street dance.

Papa Brunee's

37 Ace of Diamonds Street, Stanley, ID 83278

Great pizza place in downtown. Right down the road from the wedding venue and across the street from the Kasino Club.

For all the days along the way
