Yes, this is a Formal event (but not Black Tie). **Google is very helpful with the description of Formal for weddings.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

4:30. Please account for slower travel due to construction, and our venue being a little isolated.

Are kids welcome?

Although we adore your children, we have decided to make our big day an adults-only event.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, but this is intended for out of town guests and people staying at these hotels. Due to levy restrictions, we're unable to have large buses for everyone. If local to the Sacramento area, please try to arrange for transportation in advance (especially for pickup on the way home, it's extremely challenging to get rideshare from Grand Island Mansion late at night).
