Our story started somewhere unexpected...on a train. One day I bought a last minute train ticket to go see a friend in the city. The conductor came up to me and asked, "are those your real eyes?" - bold move, but it worked. I texted a friend from high school who works with him to get the deets and later that night we connected (talk about impeccable timing). We had our first date a week later at Carter's, and little did we know our favorite restaurant would be a part of our wedding day. In September 2025, we took a trip to the Dominican Republic where Patrick pulled off the perfect proposal! Moral of the story: sometimes getting on the right train can take you exactly where you're meant to be.
