A Note for Travelers
Our wedding venue, The Cotton Room, is located just outside of Durham’s charming city center. While we’ve suggested two nearby hotels—both within a mile of our venue—there are plenty of other lodging options at a variety of price points within a 25-minute drive. Many are conveniently located near RDU (Raleigh-Durham International Airport). Although we live in Raleigh, we recommend booking accommodations closer to Durham, as that’s where we’ll be spending most of our time during the wedding weekend. We’re so excited to welcome you with holiday cheer and celebrate this magical season—and our big day—with all of you! ❄️🎄💕

Raleigh Durham International (RDU) Airport
RDU is about 20 minutes from the heart of downtown Durham. Uber and other rideshare options are typically the most affordable way to commute if you are not using your personal vehicle.

Amtrak
We love the train, and it might be the perfect ride for those commuting to Cary or Raleigh! The route is quick, simple, and festive in its own way. The last Amtrak departure from Durham is at 10:17 PM—giving you plenty of time to make it to the station after the celebration and let the train carry you home in comfort.
