It was spring 2015 at Albuquerque Ambulance where both Patrick and Cristina were working the night shifts. They would see each other occasionally while dropping patients off at the hospital or while getting their trucks ready at the beginning of their shifts. Their interactions would consist mainly of spraying each other with saline flushes at hospital ambulace parking lots. Little did Cristina know, Patrick had been trying to get her alone to ask her out, but never got the chance to. One night, they both got called out to a call, and due to a wrong turn taken by Cristina and some speedy driving done by Patrick, Patrick and his partner showed up to the scene first, even though they were further away (which is his favorite part of the story to tell). It was after this call that Patrick finally asked Cristina out for a drink to "apologize for taking all the parking space during the call", and the rest was history! They could not be more excited to celebrate the next step in their journey with each of you, who have played (and will continue to play) such an important part in their adventure!
